I wake up from a weird dream, the sleep still clings to my eyes. I look to the windows, i see it is still dark. I get up, turn on my computer, i put some music. The hours melt away like nothing and the sun starts peeking through my window. I push the curtains out of the way, open my window and light a cigarrette. The sunrise matches every word of the song. One night after thinking on the death of my close friend Pedro i thought of something "Why do people don't take photos at funerals?" The obvious reason it's because, unlike a wedding, it is not a happy event. Photos usually serve to remember happy events, to immortalize then on sheets of papers so that later on in your life you can get your photo album and go over the good old days where everything seemed right. I remember arriving at the church, getting inside, taking one look at my friend, lying inside that coffin and i just had enough strength and willpower to sit down and start grieving. I cried and cried, friends on my sides cried too
